Moorlands was built and has been inhabited by the owner's family for four generations, originally being a small farmhouse. It nestles in the valley between Belstone Tor and Cawsand Beacon in the heart of Devon.
A comfortable 3 bedroom (1 double, 1 twin and 1 single) cottage with open fireplace in the lounge and woodburner in the well-equipped kitchen / diner. The bay window in the lounge overlooks the cobbled courtyard and gardens with one visitor once reporting that from her armchair, she sighted 23 different species of bird in one week. The main bedroom has a washbasin with the bathroom enjoying a power shower - ideal after a hard day's walking the moor or exploring the West Country.
A peaceful setting on the edge of the village but just a 5 minute stroll into the village centre with it's fine local pub / restaurant serving excellent local food.
The lack of light pollution in the village (Belstone has just 1 street light), means that on a clear night, the stars are a wonder to behold.
